Dr. Guillermo Bernal had the opportunity to be invited to Malaga, Spain, to be part of the expert panel in the 12th edition of the International Expert Meeting of the Oral Reconstruction Foundation, to evaluate and establish clinical recommendations on immediate implant placement, based on scientific evidence.
There were two days of immersion and academic interaction, where the panel of experts was divided into two main topics: a) Single tooth immediate implant placement with immediate loading, long-term success and predictability, and b) Totally edentulous patients. From the analyzes and discussion, a consensus and conclusions were reached, which will later be published in an article.
Dr. Guillermo Bernal, in addition to Dr. Orlando Alvarez from Chile, were the only two latinamericans present in the meeting, with experts from all nationalities, USA, Germany, Spain and others.
In addition to the academic days, they had the opportunity to different social events such as the Gala dinner in the Malaga Automobile Museum.
