- Javeriana University has ratified Dr. Bernal as a postgraduate professor handling interdisciplinary and advanced oseointegration seminars during the 2018-2019 term.
- After finishing his term as president of the Colombian Association of Prosthodontists, Dr. Bernal maintains himself as a vocal former president of the board of directors from 2017 to 2019.
